The BP18Y-D500N is a direct diffuse photoelectric sensor offering a 10-500mm detection range. It features a high-speed <1ms response time for rapid object detection in automation and packaging applications.
This versatile sensor provides both NPN and PNP open-collector outputs (24V, 100mA) and is easily configured for Light-On or Dark-On operation via a control wire. The high-intensity 635nm red LED ensures reliable performance, even in challenging ambient light up to 30,000 lux sunlight.
Operating from a 12-24VDC power source, it includes key features like short-circuit protection and anti-interference. Built for industrial environments, it withstands temperatures from -10 to +55°C and significant vibration. The unit comes with a 2-meter cable for easy installation.
